Hi everyone,
Finally! This month I managed to score five "wedgie" logo locomotives, so no there was no need to slip in a few freight cars to make the quota of five. I can't wait until the month I finally score 10 of these or better yet 25. 100 might be pushing it. Even better, I happen to have both the W1 and W2 paint schemes covered, with four examples of the W2 and a lone example of the W1 which also happens to be the only photo I have of one of the new "Green Goat" hybrid locomotives in operation. The lights are on, but no one is home aboard GG20B #1211. If you have never heard of the W1 and W2 abbreviations before, they are both clear and simple: W1 = H1 paint, but with new "Wedge" logo and black instead of orange W2 = H2 paint, but with new "wedge" logo and black instead of orange H3 made sense when all there was to refer to was the new H2 variation, but now that there is also a H1 variation, using H3 to refer to it as well is lacking in my opinion. Enjoy! |
