Message of the day - September 6, 2011:

Hi everyone,

Same story, different day. Oh, and while the car is the same model, at least the locomotive I picked up during recent travels in Minnesota is different, a SD70MAC instead of a GP39-2. These days, either is a good catch. In fact, this is the only BNSF patched or painted SD70MAC in the 9504 to 9599 range I have so far! I think they are all patched or repainted now, but they are seldom lead or otherwise found front uncoupled, much less from a nice overhead vantage point as was the case with SD70MAC #9505. While I didn't get much from my trip to Minnesota, it was nice to get some good old ex-BN power to go along with these ex-BN double stack cars.

Enjoy!
