Another beautiful day, and better yet, more results to show for it. I almost got "double quota" today, however one of the photos is of a GP50 that appears to be unpatched BN. I was sure I'd photographed it before, perhaps I have but the most recent photo I have online of it is from contributor Jeremy Bubb of BN GP50 #3145. I will definitely have to review what I've taken lately to see if I have five BN subjects from the past couple years. I recently got another DVD full of photos from contributor Dan Grobe and I think it has three or four BN SD70MAC's. Getting back to the subject of BNSF, one trick I used to really enjoy doing to get photos of opposite sides of a singe unit on the same day with sun on both sides. Either the sun has to move a long ways or the locomotive needs to turn. Today the BNSF made quick work of turning C44-9W #5102 so I could get this pair of photos. This happens to be one of the 2004 built C44-9W's, so I took this opportunity to pick up my latest Del Grosso Review and filled in a few unknown builder numbers and many unknown builder dates.
