If all those SD70MAC photos last month bored you to tears with the lack of variety, the next two months will not be quite as bad, but close. I have two more MAC's, and the subject then changes to Heritage II painted GE's. For the most part, these will be C44-9W's, but while I am still on the topic of modern AC traction motor equipped units generally used for coal trains, why not transition with three AC4400CW photos. I have the new and the newer, with the class unit, AC4400CW #5600, built back in October 1999 representing the new. AC4400CW #5630 and AC4400CW #5637 represent the newer, and I suspect these were among the last of a recent fifty unit order most likely built in May and June of 2003. Enjoy! |
