Hi everyone,
Here's five more photos from contributor Dan Grobe. This set features the first GP10 rebuild I've posted as BNSF. Until today, there was no BNSF page featuring the GP10, so it took me a little longer than usual to get today's update completed. Many of these were retired without ever receiving their assigned BNSF numbers, so it is quite a treat to not only get one of these, but to get the only one to have received BNSF paint, the 1408. According to Del Grosso's latest book, 1418 is the only one still on the roster with 1408 being retired by October 2008. Nice catch, Dan! Enjoy! |
