Message of the day - March 14, 2005:

Hi everyone,

The subject remains predominantly ex-Santa Fe blue and yellow GP50's, however all five are of digital origin this time around. I also have one last GP60 shot, perhaps a better shot of a winter storm blowing in than a roster shot. I should have drove a few miles east to Browning where the tracks breifly curve due south so I could have at least had proper lighting on GP60 #8739. At least lighting was not a problem on GP39-2 #2849 and I don't get too bent out of shape when the cab door is open on the standard cab units. After all, GP50 #3167 shares the same flaw. I don't think I will bother pointing out the flaw of poles growing out of cabs on a certain shot since I get extra points for having that unit uncoupled on both ends to offset that flaw.

Enjoy!
