Hi everyone,
Today we have five more images from new contributor Al Seever. Al has contributed to the BN Archive previously, and this is his first batch of BNSF. This time, all shots are of six axle EMD's. Two are SD40-2's, and as many SD40-2's as BNSF has, I am surprised I have not seen more of these in the new paint. I guess the fact that few have been repainted is shows just how good these units are - either they are sorely needed and don't get to sit still long enough for new paint, or they just don't need to visit the shop that often. The other three shots are of two SD70MAC's, including a nice roof shot of #9853 painted in the Heritage II scheme. I have noticed that these don't sit still very long either. I have only had one opportunity to get close enough to get a builder number, but it wasn't the time or the place. If anyone out there has some builder numbers and builder dates on SD70MAC's from 9839 up, I'd love to hear from you! Well, hope you like what you see so far.
